During 2017, Ukraine continued to increase the number of inbound tourists.
Last year, Ukraine was visited by almost a million more tourists than in 2016.
The President of the National Tourism Organization, adviser to the First Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, spoke about this.
So, in 2017, Ukraine was visited by 14.6 million foreigners.
In 2013, Ukraine was visited by 25 million foreign tourists, and in 2014 – 12.5 million. Since then, the number of visitors has been growing.
In the first place among the countries, tourists from which go to Ukraine – Moldova, on the second – Belarus, on the third – Russia. The number of tourists from India, Turkey, and Israel has increased.
